Created using the traditional gyotaku technique, this piece preserves not a fish, but a forkful—an edible subject inked and hand-rubbed to paper with precision and reverence. The shrimp, fully cooked and ready to be enjoyed, becomes both the model and the muse in this playful nod to indulgence.
Each fine art print is carefully matched to the original and produced on heavyweight, textured, 100% cotton paper using archival pigment-based inks for lasting vibrancy. “Cocktail Hour” measures 8 x 10 inches and is limited to an edition of just 200. Each print is individually signed, numbered, and marked with my red artist’s seal.
