Description
Prized for its moist, succulent white flesh, this peacock wrasse, or nabeta, as it is known locally, is usually only shared among friends and are rarely seen on restaurant menus. A carnivorous fish that lives a mostly solitary life close to the reef bottom, they dive into the sand when threatened.
This is a limited edition print of the original gyotaku. Printed on a heavyweight, textured fine art paper. Printed with archival inks to guarantee that your prints last a lifetime without fading or loss of color.
The edges of the paper are deckled, and can be framed either behind a mat or “floated” above a backing to show off the paper’s deckled edge.
Each print comes signed and numbered by hand.
