Description
This fine art gyotaku print features three Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle hatchlings swimming upward through sea grass toward the ocean’s surface. Their journey is symbolic of new life, hope, and the enduring beauty of Hawaiʻi’s native wildlife.
This print was created using the traditional Japanese method of gyotaku (fish printing), adapted here using a carefully sculpted replica of a honu hatchling, an ethical alternative, as Hawaiian sea turtles are an endangered and protected species.
Each 8 x 10 print is professionally printed with archival-quality inks on textured, 100% cotton fine art paper. While this edition is not limited, each piece is hand-signed and stamped with my red artist’s seal.
